Commentary:
Cyndi Glass: I was left wondering why Hanson didn’t tell them he was a cop. He could have told them the truth - that he was out to bust the drug dealers. Or if that wasn’t enough, he could have lied and said that he was out to bust the cop and say that someone had charged the cop with corruption. Hoffs and Fuller figured it out in time, but what if they hadn’t? I loved the ending through. Cute dialogue.
John DeCarli: Pretty good. Did you notice that Booker referred to Hanson as "Tommy" when he reported to Fuller at the beginning? We know Hanson doesn’t like it when Jackie calls him this in the next episode. Typical Booker, dissing Hanson even behind his back! I also got the impression that Hastings was supposed to be way out of town. Yet no one seems to have trouble reporting back to the chapel for frequent updates. Seems a little strange. I guess Hanson was never given a chance to explain who he really was to the angels. But I do wonder where Raffi got the second guy which he used to threaten Hanson and Campos. We know the first gun (which belongs to Raffi's uncle) is at police headquarters being traced. No explanation is offered in the FX version. Good ending.
