Commentary:

Cyndi Glass: Sheesh, could whoever allowed the phrase "Can I ask you a question?" to preface nearly every freaking conversation PLEASE never do this again? It’s way too distracting. The only way it would have worked is if Hanson would have noticed everyone doing it and made a point out of adding it to his conversational pattern to fit in. But I don’t see it - I see him even doing it off the case. Bad continuity, when a character adds something like this to his speech for only one episode. We were laughing and saying "can I ask you a question?" all evening. What a time-wasting piece of dialogue!
