Captain Richard Jenko:

Captain Richard Jenko was the captain with the rock and roll attitude. He seemed to have rolled right out of 1969 and never gotten any older, yet he was hip to the 80’s as well - he had to be, to train his 20-something officers to act their teenage undercover roles. He drove like a maniac, played in a band and greeted his new hire, Tom Hanson, by sliding down a fire pole onto the main floor. In #7 "Gotta Finish The Riff," Captain Jenko was killed by a drunk driver, and his officers took it hard.

 Frederic Forrest:

Armed with the most experience coming into 21 Jump Street, Frederic Forest also created such a presence in his Jump Street role that many people remember him, even though he was only in six episodes. He has a huge body of work, beginning in 1972, and he continues to work in both film and television today. One of the reasons that Johnny Depp agreed to join the cast was the chance to work with Forest, and even today they remain friends: Johnny recently cast him as his father, Lou Sr, in "The Brave," which Depp directed, co-wrote and starred in.
