Commentary:
Cyndi Glass: Geri Jewell is marvelous here, though I do feel Penhall’s frustration when he is painting and the smarmy guy comes in and nags at her, Penhall jumps to her defense and they both turn on him and say he’s only doing it because she’s deaf. I think not - Penhall would have probably defended her just because she is a woman. Smarmy guy is played by John York (currently Mac Scorpio on General Hospital), and I don’t like him here either. Great title too, the "unfinished business" being that Hoffs is having trouble with her undercover role and the helplessness it forces on her, reminding her of her own rape, as well as the part she has to play - to be bait for someone who is raping women in wheelchairs. Robinson plays her very well, just the right amount of tension.
