Commentary:

Cyndi Glass: This was the last 21JS episode that I had never seen before, and I had NO idea that Hoffs had had an abortion as a teenager. They really kept that fact quiet in the other episodes. It’s strange how morality on TV has shifted in some ways and not in others. An important female lead character would probably never be written to admit this today. Booker was an ass. It looked like Penhall got him back a little bit. I think Penhall doesn’t trust Booker yet, especially because Hanson doesn’t. I like how they keep that going throughout Season 3 to the finale where Penhall and Booker can barely work together because each of them thinks the other is so wrong and Penhall blames Booker for everything.

John DeCarli: Hadn’t seen this one for a long time. It’s a good episode for Hoffs (Ashford’s first?) but a little slow in spots. It was nice to see Sal featured. Booker is still behaving like a jerk in this one.
