- 21JS Photo Gallery 1This episode is one of my favorites due to the great casting of the actors who played Doug Penhall at age 10 and 16. I think it was a stroke of genius to cast Peter's real-life younger brother, Michael , as Doug Penhall at 16. Though two season later Michael would join the cast as Doug Penhall's younger brother, Joey, here he IS Doug Penhall - right down to the mannerisms and facial expressions. Additionally, we get to see Peter and Michael's real-life father, famous comedian Dom DeLuise, as Doug's uncle. Not to be overlooked is R.J. Williams, who we think made the PERFECT 10 year old Doug Penhall.
Actor RJ Williams as 10-year-old Doug Penhall. He is being bullied by the blond kid.
Doug goes to his uncle for advice on how to handle the bully.
Now in high school, Doug is still being tormented by the same kid, who jabs something into his leg.
Doug has a crush on a pretty cheerleader, who wipes water off his face after he sees her in the hallway while he's getting a drink from the water fountain.
Doug gets ready to go to the dance with the cheerleader, where the bully kid wrecks his uncle's car.
